We had an aboveground pool and deck built for our family and came to Ernie to make 3 beautiful and safe gates for the entries. They are the perfect final touch to our project, and I know my children will be safe. The work by Ernie is certainly way more than I could've asked for, and what a pleasure it was to meet him. Any further wrought iron work that we may need, we know to go to Milton Fab, where the work is fabulous! You can use that Ernie!

Ernie is a true artist. He recently completed a beautiful set of railings for our front steps that were immediately commented on by neighbors with compliments as to the obvious quality that could be seen in the work. If you need any type of metal work, I highly recommend Ernie for the job--I know you won't be disappointed.

We recently had our crumbling concrete front steps replaced with granite steps, and the people who installed the steps had Ernie's information. I emailed a request for an estimate and Ernie called within the half hour. He came down, gave me an estimate, and we had our railings in just over two weeks. They look great! Ernie is a true craftsman and you can tell he enjoys his work by the way he talks about it, and by his results. I highly recommend him for any project you might have.

We have recently designed and built our retirement home - an expensive and most disconcerting experience which we would wish on no other. The singular exception in all our troubles was Ernie Kriete of Milton Fabrication and Welding, whose handiwork and artistry were equally only by his honesty and dedication. There is no circus about Ernie, what you see is what you get....and then some. He works magic out of iron. It was through extensive research that we learned of Milton Fabrication & Welding and the superior quality of Mr. Kriete's work. When we called him for an appointment to visit his shop and talk with him about what we had in mind for both our indoor staircase rails and the outside deck rails, he welcomed the opportunity to speak with us. We brought with us a magazine that had a picture of the type of styling we had in mind for our rails. Mr. Kriete listened to our thoughts on what we wanted, then incorporated them into the perfect maple leaf design for our indoor and outdoor stairways and decks. Our rails are unique and blend well with the Northern New England landscape. Mr. Kriete's next project for us will be designing a house number sign, then in the spring, designing our front deck rails. My husband and I highly recommend Mr. Kriete for projects involving the use of wrought iron. He is a very talented artist and wonderful person to work with. Anyone would be hard pressed to find someone who is better at this craft.
